Hey guys,
I stumbled on a nice article that could change virtual life as we know it. It is about real time avatar animations. The technique is kind of old but it could change the way we look at generating animations for our avatars. There has been source code released somewhere in time but I can't seem to find it. Wouldn't it be great to have this functionallity in Kitely? Could we make Oren to have a look at it?

Re: Avatar Animation 2.0
The way forward with this is gonna come with the Oculus Rift and air controllers, seriously updated clients and seriously updated servers.
Using real time mo-cap technology is possible, getting it in-world here... challenging is an understatement. The experiment shown was only client side using a modified client. Cool though
Animation is an advanced topic, especially with real time skeletal animation

Yes, this never approached implementation in SL AFAIK and I suspect it's beyond the scope of Kitely.
