That link is to the Kitely grid not to a particular region. The default destination when no region is specified is the Kitely Welcome Center.

That explains why it didn't work for me. I was trying to use the link from within the Kitely grid, so I was already there.

If there are in fact ride-able horses in Kitely, hopefully someone will post a more specific link to them.

You will find them, it looks like a tour system for a horse trail so Im pretty sure the horses are ridable

Ah,ya i been there and they work good and the land is super pretty to ride in. They are for touring the sim but none are for sale yet.

an other source of rideable joy is region "Virunga Mountain" in OSgrid. Ferd Frederix has quite some awesome stuff there

There are all sorts of things using NPC code there. I had a pesky cat chasing me and trying to jump on me in some parts when I visited some months back.

You should have been able to "take copy" of several things tho, but perhaps he changed some things.

i was trying to take a copy but only got "invite to group" lol so then i tried to talk to them,they had nuttin to say but was neat to see the lively animals there

Sorry, I forgot to mention there are some market booths next to the landing position. The one containing the food bowls for the cat also has the horse (and other good stuff) boxed and ready to buy (0$). And yes, that kitten loves visitors ^^
