My Husband and I would like to have a sim to share but I am wondering how does that work? Do we both have to pay $35 each to be able to use the unlimited feature? For an example, if my husband pays $35 to have a sim, with unlimited time usage, does that enable us both to use the same unlimited plan?

Kitely plans are personal so you can't use them to share the Minutes they include. However you can upgrade a world to provide unlimited free access for all visitors so that you, your husband and your visitors won't be charged for time spent inside that world.
The cost of upgrading a single-region world to provide unlimited free access for all visitors is $40/month. A 4-region world set up this way costs $60/month. A 9-region world costs $80/month and a 16-region world costs $100/month.
