Did you know that Kitely was running in stealth mode in February 2009 and pre-launch in May 2010? The first live record in the Wayback Machine is April 2011. The first Welcome to Kitely blog went live on April 20th by which time the grid was just under four weeks old. Graham looks at calendar and pauses to count on fingers.

I should add that Kitely's final billing system didn't emerge until 2nd Feb 2012 and it was considered in beta before that so maybe it has two birthdays?

Thank you for noticing Graham.

We conceived Kitely as a "Virtual Worlds on Demand" solution in late 2008. Kitely was then selected as IVC Online's Company of the Month in February 2009.

We moonlighted developing Kitely for close to 2.5 years before starting its public beta on March 27, 2011.
