No internet
NYC is under water today. Woke up to my house flooding. No internet. God only knows when it will be sorted. Just giving a heads up to my friends that I will not be in world for a while. Thanks

Update, internet is back on. That was quick. The flooding wasn't as bad in the house as I thought. 6 inches of water and a muddy mess downstairs. Thank God for small favors.

Thanks Ilan. It could have been so much worse. There was about 3 or so feet of water in the street. our house goes a little uphill thank God, not everyone was as lucky.

Oh, Kimm, best wishes to you and all your neighbours.
How is the weather doing over there? Headlines in the UK papers mention heavy snow, blizzard conditions as well as the flooding on the east coast. (It's just misty, drizzly and 7°C in my part of the UK -- quite a contrast.)

The weather for the entire holiday weekend is crazy here Dot. Flooding to come tonight and tomorrow morning again. We are better prepared for it now, but they didn't let us know about this morning's flooding. The mess downstairs in my home could have been avoided had they let us know. Freezing temperatures on top of it all. I'm praying it won't be too bad tomorrow. Right now, after a long day around here, I am snug as a bug in-world building in my happy place, sipping on a glass of wine. Happy Holiday's and hope to see ya kickin around Coopersville real soon.

Thanks, luckily the winds changed course and there was no flooding again this morning. The original forecast was grim to say the least. Merry Christmas everyone!!!
