Tickets to Events?

If there was a live performance held in Kitely, would you pay for a ticket to attend?

Unless there was a performance inworld by some well-known RL person...then I would consider it for the curiosity factor.

But I still probably wouldn't pay because the thing would be sold out before I could act.

It depends on who it was, and when the event would be held. For me, it's hard to get inworld much lately, so whether I could actually make it weighs pretty big at the moment.

Just curious, how would you sell tickets?

We are planning an event that will include a live performance by someone who is known in the Metaverse. Asking this is mostly to get a better idea of one of our options. Other than that, I don't want to say more as we simply want to know what people think in general. We know that there are various factors involved, such as how well known a performer is, as well as time of day, location, etc.

Just to add, things like how to sell tickets and such are simply things we're not going to spend time working out if we see that this would be something that wouldn't work. Yes, we are that busy on our project

Think the better way to get returns on an event is to appeal to donate if you like the event - this will not prevent people to come and pay for something they don't know if they will like it. If they like it and are in favor of having more of this, they should be willing to contribute.

I agree with Min, donations or tips are a better way to go.

I have never paid a ticket price for an inworld event...but i am a good tipper.
