Why are my Kitely birthdates in the FUTURE??

Post by Barnard Smith »

Stupid question then I'm going to bed (its late) but I've always wondered why. Why is my Kitely birthdate a day in the future shortly approaching but not happened yet? It appears here and on my profile, but its wrong. I've been here over ten months but my birthdate on my Kitely profile appears as 01/06/2013, and my birthdate here in the forums appears as Jan 07, 2013, both dates yet to happen.

Is this a omen? Are these dates I should be concerned about? Or does this mean I'm Kitely special, or I'm my own future, I've always thought I'm a little ahead of my time..ask anyone that knows me and they will tell you that I'm a definitely a out there kinda guy:) lol. I was just wondering why my dates have always been messed up, or is it just me living in the past. hehe Thanks

I assume you mean ---2014-- but while you are going to sleep, I need more coffee...lol

eta: see, I needed more coffee, but I will leave the above comment to point ppl to in case they do not realize how utterly goofy and dumb I am [along with other similar comments]....

I have no clue what is going on now.....

Hi Barnard, the date I'm seeing on the forums, and the one you reported, is Jan 7, 2013 which, considering that today is Nov 25, 2013, is almost 11 months in the past. It's currently 2013 and we'll be switching to 2014 come New Years (end of day Dec 31, 2013 - i.e. in a bit more than a month) :-)

Did I miss somethings? :-)

Is this something to do with the order months/days/years are presented ? Or has this thread time travelled ? Did timezones seriously mess things up ?
Luckily the forum can be configured to present days/months/years in a civilised order.
All my devices say the year is 2013 at time of posting.

PS. Kitely is awesome.

Look on the bright side

If ALL of your birthdays were in the past, you'd be dead 8-)

Maybe the forums have gone through some undetected temporal rift. Have Geordi break out the Emergency Tachyons! It's well known that tachyons can fix any technological problem - or is that only problems that happen out in deep space?

Laughs hard at the responses! My post is a prime example why people shouldn't sleep post or post while half awake. In the last couple days I haven't gotten much sleep and the time of this post was nearly my 4:00 AM. I posted with the best intentions and the post was meant as light hearted and humorous. From now on any post posted after my 1:00 AM I will be sure to double check my numbers and facts, dot my I's and cross my T's, and lord help me I will make sure all my ducks are all in a nice straight row:) I am sorry if I confused anyone. Thanks for your understanding.

Personally, I prefer crossing my "I"s and dotting my "T"s...but, I am weird that way.

Glad you had fun though-))

I'm so busy I sometimes forget what day it is so forgetting the year is very understandable :-)

Thanks Ilan I guess I lost a year last night, but I have it back now LOL. When I'm up late at night I usually see you on also, so I know you know what sleep deprivation is all about :D
