Forums profile images missing

Super minor thing, but I noticed about a week ago, users' profile photos went missing in these forums. It was nice being able to see what people looked like and further personalized the forum experience. Even better if the forum profile photo could be magically synced with our Kitely avatar profiles.

If/when you're at it in troubleshooting this, would you be willing to increase the file attachment upload size for these forums, too? Even basic screenshots often are too large of file size and it's a hassle to have to resize in Photoshop just to share a screenshot with someone.

I have fixed the problem. The last time we upgraded the forum software (phpBB), for some reason it turned off the setting that is used to display the profile images. So I just had to turn it back on...

Did you by chance give any consideration to increasing attachment size? I know it's a trivial thing, but maybe it's equally trivial to adjust?

Hi Frank,

We've increased the maximum attachment size from 256KB to 512KB. This will allow for higher resolution screenshots and/or for higher quality ones but you're most likely still going to have to resize them.

Thanks, Ilan! You're right, that's still tiny by today's standards, but helpful.

By the way, I really appreciate that you have these forums, and haven't just submitted to Facebook for your communications, like most other organizations have. I realize Facebook is easier and has the eyeballs, but that's also digital sharecropping; you have no control or ownership. I much prefer forums.

It's even worse! Now with everyone locked at home and baking, he's making me bake the bread myself!
