Streaming music on advanced megaregions

hey hey,

I am working on my advanced megaregion and want to add streaming music. Is there another methode or do I need to add the music url to all the 16 regions of my megaworld? Also when crossing regions the music stops and halts for a few secs, then starts again. Is there a way to make the music play seamless when crossing borders?

Hi Amiryu,

Streaming media URLs are a per-parcel configuration and parcels can't currently be defined in a way that crosses region boundaries. Advanced Megaregions have this limitation as well so you can't have a parcel that covers the whole megaregion. This means that whenever you cross region boundaries the media streaming will stop when leaving one parcel and start again when entering the next.

thank you, does that also mean that I have to define the music url over and over again when switching from normal to advanced megaregion and back while landscaping the worlds?

You only need to define it once per parcel, switching Advanced Megaregion mode on and off shouldn't change this configuration.

I can confirm that this is the way it has worked for me. I've only turned off Megaregion mode when doing major landscaping changes. Doing that can really
help, particularly if the landscaping changes will be on or near boundaries between regions in the world. Just remember to turn megaregion mode back on
once you're done with your landscaping changes.
