For waht I know, seeing sim lines or not is always up to your viewer options and never up to the Sims owners
de-Select on >>> World - Show - Parcel Lines --- or something like that

With the viewer loged on, on the top menu more on the left >>> WORLD / SHOW MORE / PROPERTY LINES (Uncheck "Property Lines")
