[SOLVED] I crashed my world, can't log into it again wit

I crashed out of my world (Sputnik) when tidying it up, and now I crash out every time I log in to it.

I have:
-Tried restarting the world (by turning off/on Advanced megaregion mode).
-Tried emptied cache.
-Tried with both Singularity and Firestorm viewer.
-Tried logging in to both the region I was in when it crashed (1,2), and my home-region (1,1)
-Tried logging in with Advanced megaregion mode on and off.

What I did that caused it to crash:
-I was going to delete every single prim in the (1,2) region, but there were 3 prims left in it, that I couldn't find, in addition to a simple cube.
-So I returned the objects to the owner (myself), so it ended up in my Lost&Found folder as a "soft-linked object".
-I was curious what this unknown object was, so I rezzed the object again, but again I only could see the simple cube.
-After rezzing the soft-linked object, it seemed that the unknown part of it maybe could be outside the sim border, so I tried to link them together, in order to pull the simple cube inwards my region, so the unknown part of the object maybe could be pulled into the region too.

-The moment I clicked the "Link"-button, was the moment I crashed!

-And now I have no idea how to log into my region again withouth crashing.

Hi Phacelia,

I just visited Sputnik and it seems fine. Have you tried visiting other Kitely worlds and seeing if your viewer crashes there as well?

Have you tried clearing both your viewer cache and your viewer's inventory cache?

Do you want us to restore the world to its last daily backup?

I just logged into the the Welcome Center without crashing (Tried to TP home from there, but again crashed upon arrival).

Hmm... I clicked "Clear Cache" under "Network", and restarted the viewer. I am not sure how to clear "viewer inventory cache"?
I uninstalled and reinstalled Singularity, but I guess there are still some files left on my computer somewhere?

Do you want us to restore the world to its last daily backup?

I think that could be a good idea. There is still nothing important on the region that I care if it is deleted or not.

---Still crashing when my region is loading. I stay at the landingplace in maybe 3 seconds, then crashing. The transfer station, and Welcome Center did not crash me.

There is an option on the same tab where you clear the viewer cache to also clear the viewer inventory cache. Please use that option then check if you still crash in your world.

So in Singularity (that I normally use), I am not able to see any kind of inventory cache clear.

But I looked in Firestorm (that I only use as reserve), and there was indeed a button to clear inventory cache.

However, it is grayed out, i.e. not possible to click.

If it is easy to restore last daily backup, I would really not mind to do that at this point

EDIT: No need to restore daily backup. Next morning I can log in again without crashing. YAY

Phacelia-- I went to sputnik and found it working normally. I was using Firestorm. Have you tried Firestorm there?

Early next morning, and I can log in again without problems, so no need to restore to last daily backup!

Since it didn't seem that anyone else but me had problems, I woke up with the idea to make an alt and see if I could log in to my region with it. But then I did another try with my main first, and this time it magically worked, after it had crashed 10 or more times after 2-3 seconds after arrival last night.

I returned and *deleted* that nasty prims that made me crash yesterday.

Note to self: Never ever try to link objects unless I know what they are!

Thanks for testing. Yes, Ilan had no problems last night (European time) also. It seemed that nasty linked object only affected me, somehow. Yes, I tried both Singularity and Firestorm. But now it is working again for me too, so all is good
