Non Megaregions Mode - Landing Spots

Hello, I have a doubt

If I don't want to have my 16 regions world to function as a Megaregion I know is easy and just have to uncheck that box at world management

And I also know it may occur some small issues with sims crossing

But if I have my regions like that - NON Megaregion mode, will I be able to name each one separately (on the viewer "about land") and have URLs for each one and different landing/arrival spots for each one ?

Im not talking about access from Worlds Page, that one I know it will always lead visitors to the most Southwest region, Im talking about Inworld map search

Can I have for example different cities on each region and make sure some are Adult and others are General and have Inworld or HG visitors to be able to land or not, separately on each one ?

Hi Carlos,

You will get MUCH worse sim performance with Advanced Megaregion mode turned off, especially when the number of people visiting your world increases. The only time you should have Advanced Megaregion mode disabled is when you are changing the terrain textures or uploading/downloading terrain RAW files.

Switching it off will not give you a separate world page for each region. Nor will it change the landing spot which is defined per world in Kitely not per region, regardless of how the world is set up.

The default region is the region users appear in when they enter a big world. Initially, the default region is the root region (the region at the South-West corner of the world). You can change the default region by creating a telehub. (Here are the instructions for creating a telehub.) When a telehub is created, we assume that the region that contains the telehub should be the default region. If you don’t want to keep the telehub then you can delete it afterwards: this won’t cause Kitely to forget the default region that you have chosen. After you have that set up you can set a landing point via the viewer inside that region.

The maturity rating in Kitely is per world. You can set region maturity rating via the viewer but the setting on our website will still be enforced and that is the setting which needs to match what is inside your world for it to conform to our terms of service.

If you want different cities, Carlos, why not use single regions and do something like Motley's French Quarter?

Thank you so much Ilan, you answered all my doubts

Dot, I had this intention because now that Fixed-price worlds will have more affordable options, and in my specific case I intend to have very regular events, renters and visitors, it would be a way to kind of --- having several small worlds but only paying for a big one, enjoying the fixed-price savings (in my case of frequent events/visitors)

But for those worlds to be effective as different entities they would have to benefit from different Ratings and arrival areas

Of course for people that run less regular events and don't expect to much visitors, Premium or Gold is still a much cheaper option, I get that but my goal is daily activities and users and my mind is set on fixed-price

Also having at least learned already how to save tons of prims by converting to mesh in Blender, the new fixed-price affordable lower prims do not scare me at all

Im brainstorming a lot because of the new prices in June and also thinking what would suit me more, actually I postponed a bit the Virtual Lisbon development just because I need to see the prices first
