Hi all,

I am having some trouble with an off-sim product, I cannot seem to select the root prim. This of course means that I can neither move or remove the off-sim landscape which is currently floating in the sky! I have contacted the creators and they came to my world and said that they could select the off-sim no problem, they suggested the issue might be with my avatar, however my colleague (who has full perms) was also unable to select the root prim.

Any ideas anyone?

If you know the name of the object, try using "Area Object Search", right-click the object name in the resulting list and select "edit" from the context menu. Then you should be able to type numbers in the edit window to move the object to where you want it. Another option on the menu is to delete the object.

A possible cause might be the "limit select distance" setting in the Advanced menu. You could try making sure that's disabled.
