Hello folks, here is my question if you are so kind to help me out
I would like to grab a huge OAR, a 12X12 saved world I created and slide only a portion of it (4X4) into Kitely
I did it already but it works by default and it starts from the most SW corner so what I get into Kitely is not the exact crop portion of land I wished
Is there any program for Mac users where we can open the OAR, crop it exactly where we want and afterwards save it again to OAR format to upload to Kitely ???
Thank you in advance
Cheers

Re: Using a Section of Huge Var
If you have a copy of Greythane's version of SoaS for Macs, you could try upgrading the OpenSim part of it to one that works with vars and manipulate the OARs there.

While Greythane's SoaS module is no longer available from the simonastick.com site, it may be possible to meld the Mac version of Whitecore-on-a-Stick with the latest version downloadable from SoaS.
I'm currently experimenting. If successful I'll post what to do in these forums. SoaS is such a useful tool, we need to keep it going.

Re: Using a Section of Huge Var
Thank you, with so many VARs around opens I think it will become a very important issue, either merging small regions into big vars, either the opposite
