Can't deed to group

I am trying to deed a parcel to a group, and, when I open "About Land", the box for "Allow Deed..." is ticked, but the "Deed" button remains disabled, even if I toggle the "Allow..." button off and on again. I also toggled the "Allow..." box off, relogged and ticked it, to no avail.

Can anyone help me? I know this worked in my old world.

Please clear your viewer cache and viewer inventory cache then try again.

How big is the world you're trying to do this in?

It's a 16x16 varregion, but it's also happening in my standard world. I'll do as you suggest and try again :-)

No joy, I'm afraid. Had to delete the Application Support/Firestorm as well, since the viewer became unresponsive after clearing the caches (I did all of them... Maybe that was a bad idea?).

Next idea?

What version of Firestorm did you previously have? Have you tried downloading the latest version from the Firestorm site?

Have you tried this with another viewer, such as Singularity?

I've been on the latest Firestorm (4.7.5.47975) since it came out. Just tried in Singularity, and there was no joy there either, I'm afraid.

I'm happy to hear that Kitty. We haven't changed a thing on our end.

When there are problems of the "it used to work but now it doesn't" type, that don't correlate to any code changes on our end, then the cause is usually either viewer caching issues or network issues. Viewer developers decided to forgo using the reliable TCP network protocol for many viewer-to-server communications and chose to use the unreliable UDP protocol instead. The problem with that is that some of those UDP network packets can easily get dropped due to network load and as a result the viewer doesn't get the information it needs from the server to complete whatever it was in the process of doing.
