Hello!

Sorry, but I need to bother you guys again. I rent some houses for free on my sim. For giving the people building permissions, I use my land group to control these with a role (land is group owned). For some reasons, it seem to work only for Kitely avatars. For avatars from other grids, the permissions will not granted. Me and my partner have checked all preferences many times, but we don't see a fault.
Is it a general issue, that people from other grids can't build?

Just a suggestion only, have you tried adding the person to your group while you are both on the land in question?

Please use Singularity when inviting other people to your group, Firestorm has issues with managing OpenSim groups.

Thank you for your help! It seems that Singularity can really handle the groups better than Firestorm. I tried an alt from a different grid and it worked. I think it will work for other avas too.

It's counter-intuitive, but taking of all your own group tags will allow you to issue group invites in OS on Firestorm. It works every time.
