Can Estate Managers use the OSSL Function?

I'm helping a content creator friend move her products into Kitely from another grid where she has a main store (fashion mostly).

I suggested using NPCs to model the clothes, which are all mesh. She informed me that that requires the OSSL Function, which is available only to sim owners.

My question is: if I made my friend an Estate Manager to my sim, could she then have that capability for her store in a parcel within my sim?

Thank you, Ilan! It's all Greek to me, but I'll pass that info on to my friend.

Hi Frank,

Please see: https://www.kitely.com/virtual-world-ne ... functions/
Just to clarify "World Manager" in this context is equivalent to a sim's Estate Manager, correct?

And if so, adding my friend as an Estate Manager would give her full access to allowed OSSL Functions, right?

Hi Frank,

The world's World Manager is the user that owns the world, i.e. the user account that is paying for that world. Adding someone as an Estate Manager doesn't enable that user to use functions that are restricted to just World Managers.

Frank -- Script will be in an object. The World Manager needs to rez and place the object to get the OSSL function to work.

OK, thank you, both, for clarifying this for me. :)

We'll figure out an alternative.
