Hi

Some weird stuff is happening to buildings that I have created. My ability to change the properties is being removed stopping me from being able to transfer or sell my own creations. At first I thought it was me being dumb and using a component that was not full perm, but despite being super careful I find that my structures somehow become non-transfer. I have picked some of the structures apart prim by prim to find any offending articles without success. This happened again yesterday, but it with the exception of an obelisk that I bought in the market place that is full perm, every prim was created from scratch by me and I find myself unable to change the properties. All of the textures are also uploaded by me.

Any suggestions?

Hi Alan,

Are you modifying the permissions on the object when it is rezzed or are you trying to do so while it is in your inventory?

Please note that Kitely Market uses the Next Owner permissions for listings, not the Owner permissions. So if you want to list items in Kitely Market with certain permissions then you need to have those permissions as New Owner permissions.

I am talking about things I create from scratch. I cannot change the permissions for backups that I took in my inventory and also for the original item that is in-world. This is something quite recent because older structures I have made seem to be unaffected.

Are these items you created inside Kitely or ones you imported using your avatar from another grid?

Are these items currently owned by you or by a group?

They are all owned by me

Are they rezzed on group-owned land?

I have no group owned land Ilan. Everything is in my name.

Are the items linked to other items? Do they contain other items? Have you checked whether one of those linked/contained items may be forcing the removal of the permission?
