MY WORLD GOT STUCK

Octoberworld took about 10 minutes to start.
I restarted my Viewer and attempted login elsewhere,
but I could not log in anywhere else as I was "already in the process of entering "Octoberworld", etc.."
During this time I could not Stop the world from the Control Panel.

We have lot of things currently going on at Octoberworld, and planning more, and directing people to go there.
It is also the home of Collaborative Hallowe'en Mall, so lots of stuff with different owners are rezzed there presently.
Mall is at 3170m But there are still over 80,000 prims available.

Could someone take a peek and see if there is something monkeyed up with it, or something I need to fix up?
Thank you Kitely Overlords!

on a side note, perhaps some snacks & beverages in the Kitely waiting zone would be handy!

Hi Shandon,

Your world included complex non-phantom objects that took more than 5 minutes to have their collision meshes loaded and where therefor automatically turned Phantom following this long loading time. Please check your email inbox to see the email our system sent you about this. This automatic world optimization feature is described here: https://www.kitely.com/virtual-world-ne ... rovements/

ah.. that makes sense... it's a 'feature', and a good feature i reckon.
i do see the email now, spam had grabbed it for some reason.. 111 objects slow rezzing! eeep!
interestingly, to me, vast majority of the objects have been in place for a few weeks it looks like, but a few have been there for a much longer time.

anyway.. all is functioning as designed, thank you Kitely team!

curious.. do the servers scan all worlds periodically? or on a regular basis?

They track every world start to check for overly complex non Phantom objects that slow down world startups.
