My vision it hurts..mesh problem??
I have been trying for a while now to build some caves. Well i have uploaded shapes and have also bought a few but no matter what i have done i get this issue. When im inside the shape things seem ok,i can see i all the shape from in there but if i am outside whatever "wall" or surface i am looking at directly it is see through. I can move the shape around and the "see through" area changes depending what area what im directly looking at. I can stand inside and cam out and still see me inside through that area "the area that follows my eyes! Does this make sense cos im going batty!!

It is,i tried to add more texture first time and then again after your post. Tried to texture the whole thing and then by selecting face/suface but no change there.

Are there alpha levels on the other side? (each side should be its own surface).
Is the cave "flat", i.e. are the same triangles textured from different sides?

Re: My vision it hurts..mesh problem??
just changed the interior texture to plan wood and can only see that texture, lol. When in edit mode and selecting "surface" the outside of it shows the rock texture and the inside does have the wood texture. Closing that window when i look at it though all i see is the inside no matter how i look at it. From the outside view i see straight through it and see the inside texture.

Please try a different mesh to see if you encounter the same problems.

i dont know mesh well, but with sculpties this can occur as well. a cure in that case can be to rez a second sculptie at exact same coordinates as first one, but set second one to 'mirror' under sculpty properties.
again tho, i dont knw if that applies to mesh objects or not.
