Re: Firestorm problem
Big relief! This has been driving me nuts.
On digi, I rezzed WWD's retro living room, bit by bit, and by the third item I crashed. Seems like after two or three items I crash.
On 3rd Rock Grid I rezzed out all the same items, and more and nothing.
3rd Rock Grid runs version 8 still, Digi is on 9.
Did Kitely move to 9 also? Because I can't even force a crash on 3rg rezzing out all the same items.
I also wondered if there was a difference between bullet and uBode --- but yes this is definitely related to the new viewer and in searching the Great Google, the only info I found about it was here on the forum.

Hi Moonrise,
Yes, we upgraded to the latest OpenSim release earlier this year (with many of our own performance and reliability patches). See: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5379&p=27913#p27913

Re: Firestorm problem
Even though I've had no problems on my home grid running version 8, I decided to uninstall the newest version and go back to the prev version since I do still find myself on 9 versions often enough that this glitch has become a pain in the butt.

Re: Firestorm problem
I'm having the same issue with crashing when I rez mesh items. The first time was when I rezzed the coalesced version of this house:
https://www.kitely.com/market/product/1 ... r=18070061
It's also happened when I rez some of the items in this set, they are coalesced too:
https://www.kitely.com/market/product/8 ... ar=8087711
It's happened for every item so far in the following set. The strange thing about the stone path is when it rezzes and I crash when I come back the name of the object is missing. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the item or the viewer. I'll check with Alex to see if he is seeing the same thing.

I look forward to a fix.

Re: Firestorm problem
Hi Virtual Ability,
As explained here this is a known problem with Firestorm 6.3.9 that has already been reported to the Firestorm developers and for which a fix should be included in the next Firestorm release.

Re: Firestorm problem
Thanks Chris! Survey Taken
For me my comments on survey were:
1) Crashing when rezzing Mesh Objects
2) Passwords not saved in viewers
3) Clarification on which/either/or/both viewer(s) to use for people that login to both SL and OS regularly and have both grids up and running simultaneously.

Hi Sally,
You need to be more specific please. What is the exact error message you're getting?

Re: Firestorm problem
Apparently the issue has been resolved. May have been a network issue. Was able to access world today. Thank you for responding.
