I had to reinstall the Imprudence Viewer today because of a bug, but I am no longer able to add "Kitely." I tried a few times using the info and instructions here: http://www.kitely.com/startviewers
This is the info I used to try to add Kitely to the Grid Manager>
---------------------------
Using a Grid Manager
If your viewer has a grid manager then use it to define a new grid with the following parameters:
Grid Name: Kitely
Login URI: http://osgrid.kitely.com:8002
---------------------------
After adding this info I was unable to use the automatic "Add Grid Info" button on the viewer," and since the above info is all I have I am unable to add Kitely as before.
NOTE> Because of needed updates to my mac, "Imprudence" is the only viewer I can use right now.
Thanks for your help.
Miriam

Re: Login Issues with Imprudence
UPDATE> Kept trying. Was finally able to use the "Get Grid Info" button by adding the Kitely "web site" link" in the grid info section below. Then I clicked the "Get Grid Info" button again. Got it. Woohoo!

Re: Login Issues with Imprudence
Thank you, Ilan. It seems I am still having problems with the Imprudence Viewer with regard to the "camera controls." This seems to be where a bug might be the viewer has crashed multiple times today, even since I reinstalled the viewer.
The "second" problem I was having today was that I was unable to "teleport" to a couple of my regions. That seems to be okay now too. Will see.

Re: Login Issues with Imprudence
I used to be able to use Firestorm and a couple of other viewers, but all of their new downloads require me to update my mac, which I hope to do soon. Until then though, it looks like I will only be able to use Imprudence. It has worked well for me until the last couple of days.

Re: Login Issues with Imprudence
Figured I would post this for Mac OS X 10.5 users. Found an old "Firestorm" download, but it is not "opensim" compatible. Looks like I am going to have to update to "Snow Leapord 10.6" to be able to use an opensim compatible version of Firestorm. RE: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/mac_os_x_ ... d_problems
*** NOTE> Snow Leapord is not the latest Mac Software update, but it has to be installed to update to the latest software. It will however, according to the above link allow you to download an opensim capable version of Firestorm.
Guess I will order the update tomorrow.
