I'd like to change my avatar display name, but every time I try (via the menu Avatar/Profile) I've got the message "Sorry we couldn't set your display name. Try again later."

Is there a way to do it?

We can rename your Kitely account if you email us a request from the email account with which you signed up for your Kitely account.
