What viewer version are you using?

Hi Ilan,
I am using Firestorm viewer 6.3.9.58205 OS
But we have gotten reports from several attendees to our shows that use our slurl and end up in middle of undeveloped land on wrong region. Some are just confused and frustrated, some give up and dont come to show.

Appears to be same symptoms we had in February.

I'm not sure why these two Worlds are "cross-linking" or whatever, they have similar world names, but are owned by different RL persons.

In order for us to be able to check the server logs, can you please give me the avatar name of one such person who encountered this issue and when that avatar encountered this problem?

What viewer version did that person use?

As mentioned above in this thread Mike Lorrey has recently experienced this.

Here is a video of it happening/malfunctioning... you'll note that is this from the Kitely Welcome Center.

I don't want to be whiny cuz you guys do fantastic work, and are always very responsive... but...
As any Kitely presenter can attest to, I think, building and maintaining an audience in Kitely is a constant uphill struggle, and an issue that keeps people from even getting to our shows is very frustrating and gives us a very bad appearance, as well as Kitely as a whole. I have no way of knowing how many potential audience recruits we may have lost, both Kitely and Hypergrid. <-- my 2 cents.

If there is something we need to set different, or different slurl style to use or anything please let me know.
I will ask the visitors that I know have had issues to get more info for us.

I was able to reproduce this issue with the latest Firestorm version, so we have something to go on. We'll investigate why this is happening.

Just to update this thread, the issue Shandon reported was fixed on July 9, 2020.

Reportedly this is occuring again...
Very Frustrating...
