LSL syntax tip errror

Post by Mike Lorrey »

I had this conversation on the Firestorrm JIRA with a pretentious dev who assumes every user is willing and able to dig into millions of lines of code and has any clue where to find it. Be that as it may, she did point out that my problem, that the script interface is providing inaccurate function syntax information, is a problem with Kitely's script code and not the viewer.

In re: llGiveInventoryList() when you hover your mouse for the pop-up syntax tip for that function, improperly says the second parameter is "string category" when the official LSL wiki says it is "string FolderName", and while the asset system may consider "category" and "folder name" to be the same thing, regular users do not. Since the case here is the opensim code and not the viewer, please put this on the list of minor bugs to fix. Its not major, and you ought to consider fixing this for all functions that want a parameter that is an inventory folder name.
