We'll investigate implementing this feature for a future release. If it's simple to do then we'll do so soon.
Apparently osgrid has it set up to do this more or less like in SL. Perhaps they would be willing to part with the code.

Hi Serendipity,

Is this done inworld or via a web-based interface?

I heard a snippet someplace on this [but did not look into it closer as I am not a resident of that grid] that it is web-based, which is typical in free opensim grids atm...as far as I know.

Usually in the form of an email or IM to support or whomever is designated to do such things.

People who want to be set as partners inworld can already PM me or email me the request (from both parties). We have a few such couples in Kitely already.

I use Firestorm. When I look at my profile, the Partner field is set to None and looks to be hard-coded. If it cannot be changed in our Profiles, would it be possible to submit such requests to Oren and Ilan to handle on the server side?

Wonderful to know this was implemented, we will be contacting you Ilan :D

No wonder Artemis (Goddess of the Hunt) didn't accept my marriage proposals.
