Oren Hurvitz wrote:As you have seen, the viewer doesn't allow changing the partner. Second Life have a form on their website to send partner requests. We might add something like this in the future, if the volume of requests is high enough, but for now we will handle these requests manually:

If you want to set your Partner in the profile then please contact us. In cases where it isn't obvious that the two partners are related to each other please have both partners send a request.

Congratulations Dinero :-)

Following your request via private message to me, you and your girlfriend are now the first couple to have been made partners in Kitely.

Well, that's all fine and good, but no one is discussing a very important aspect of becoming partners/spouses! Who performs the ceremony? What choices does a couple have for denomination and style? What are the qualifications of the one who performs the ceremony? Where does one go for formal attire appropriate for these ceremonies? Are there planning consultants? What is the average cost of the ceremony?

lol
Dinero said he will take care of all that for new comers :D (joke)

Hopefully in the future we can build such a service, I just love weddings so I will be thinking about it and planning.
Thanks IIan for making partnerships happen in Kitely

Congratulations from me too! It was very sweet of Ilan and Oren to do that! And, Dinero, thank you so much for posting the videos; I had forgotten just how much I love that melody, have not heard it in ages. Very Celtic, isn't it?

Well this is all well and good but there needs to be a more automated way to do this as Kitely grows in population. Is there one yet or one in the works? Now that I have my SL wife finally up and running in Kitely I want to do this myself soon. :D

Hi Serendipity,

We haven't setup a way to do this automatically yet (there have been too many other higher priority things to work on first) but we'll be happy to set this for you if both you and your partner send me PM's with requests naming the other person.
