Direct login

I saw this someplace but can't find it now.

I want to be able to log in directly using imprudence...as an option.

I noticed today i do not have im logs in my computer where all my others are, so I am assuming this has something to do with it. [the login using the website interface]

I kinda like my logs-)) ty-))

Hi Minethere,

You can set up your viewer for direct login using the instructions listed here: http://www.kitely.com/#!startviewers (note that you will need to press the Enter World button then manually login via your viewer once you are notified to do so).

To my knowledge, the existence of IM chat log has nothing to do with how the viewer is launched so I don't think the problem you encountered has to do with how you logged in.

I am at a loss then to figure out why I do not have chat logs. I am in quite a few grids and they all have their own folders. I just found it odd when I happened to look today for kitelys.

Maybe it sticks them in some other location due to the plugin? I will look into that further tomorrow...ty again

did a complete search of my harddrive..no kitely logs.

nothing in appdata> roaming >imprudence except the plugin

strange...going inworld by both methods next to see settings

anyone else have this issue?

ok...http://osgrid.kitely.com:8002 does not populate my grid manager. i use the imp v1.4 beta2 btw

going in using the plugin, settings in preferences checked out fine...so it only remains to see if logs are created when i go in using the grid manager

ok...i am not sure what happened...and I truly did look at my file manager a few times to find the kitely sub directory on my pc, but i see it now

and i had done the full search on my drive.

in any case, i see the directory now just nothing in it...maybe my failed attempt to go in directly created it, i dunno

i will report when i see an actual im log just to close the matter-))
