I can't enter the Kitely Welcome Center.

When I try to login there, I get login failed.
When I try to TP there from inworld, I get server request failed: the request timed out.

ahhh, that is good to know. A friend from SL whom I recommended to try Kitely, was not able to log in on the 24th. As a new member I guess, he was sent to Welcome and could not enter. I am glad this is fixed and will tell him to try again.

That is why I posted on this. KWC apparently went down on the evening of the 24th. I could log into other places, but it would not offer a good reception to newcomers. Maybe Oren will set the system to send a notice when KWC is down.

Hi Selby,

There is already a system in place to automatically restart Kitely Welcome Center and Kitely Transfer Station if they crash. The problem was that Kitely Welcome Center partially froze without crashing and kept responding to our keep-alive system so it didn't know that the world needed to be automatically restarted.
