Have to confess I mostly use Handy Low's door & drawer system which alas is no longer on Kitely Market. I just checked and it works fine provided the door is not the root prim. Not much help to you, I know, but how are you scripting your door(s)?

Hi Brian,
some simple doorscripts use a vertical rod and a linked prim for the doorblade. These you can't link to a house.
As long as the door is just one prim it can be linked to a larger linkset. You just need a proper script for that. My advanced doors/doorscripts in the market allow this. Currently available are rotating door, sliding door and double sliding door.

To link these to a larger linkset you need to follow the instructions given there.

I have a Free Scripts area in the Brayla Sana Gallery sim which includes door scripts that can be used in child prims of a linkset.

I have a great script by a chap from Counter Earth grid, if he is ok with it being spread around, I will put it on Cariad Sim (Kitely). It is super good. You can use it in linked prims, and it has a notecard to control the degree of rotation, just by typing in the number of degrees you want, or you can use a minus number to make the door move in the opposite direction, it also has speed of opening, group, owner or everyone use, and multiple other functions. Unfortunately you can't use it for edge rotation, but it's fine for prim doors, that have been cut down, and if you want to use it with mesh doors, you just have to make the mesh twice the size, and make half of it with a separate texture face, set to transparent, so the rotation is in the centre (also a good idea to put physics on one side of the door only).

Try and get a copy of Eazydoor. Author is Zauber...probably Paracedlcus, maybe Xonar

Eazydoor was created as an alternative to the Timeless Door scripting.
It is intuitive, easy to use and is perfect for "linked" doors. In fact, is was written to be used with liked doors.
