Water Regions

Post by Michael Campbell 2 »

I currently have 4regions. One is the beautiful Evergreen Island and 3 are water that I created by lowering 3 raw land regions which also lowered everything in my Evergreen region. Is there an easer way to upgrade to 16 regions with 12 being all water and not disturbing my existing Evergreen build. Any suggestions appreciated and thanks in advance.

Hi Michael,

Yes you can do that while keeping your existing build.

First, go to your My Worlds page and click the Manage link to open the world's Manage World dialog. Inside that dialog switch your world type to Advanced World. This will send you to PayPal to upgrade your subscription (payment will be pro-rated based on the cost difference and the remaining number of days in the month).

Next go back to the Manage World dialog and change your world size using this tool: https://www.kitely.com/virtual-world-ne ... ical-tool/

Hey Michael, if you need any help with terraforming, let me know! I've made plenty of mistakes along the way and am slowly getting better at it.

If you want to do more elaborate terraforming, I cannot recommend Kayaker Magic's bulldozer highly enough (available in the Kitely Market). It works well and is fun to use.

And to add, I *think* your newly-added regions will be flat land, but you can definitely select chunks of it and lower incrementally, rather than manually doing it or trying to raise water level sim-wide.
