Ancient Ruins of Al Khaznehek

Built by a long extinct race of Master Stonemasons, they found this Island of Mountains and made it their home after being driven out of their homeland by Barbarians.

Alas, the once proud carvings have fallen into a mass of pillars and old monuments. But hidden among them are gems of wonder.

This will be the setting for my next free OAR for the Metaverse. This will take some time but will be worth the wait-))

Large Bay has an approximately 1/4 of the region bay on the southeast side and a creek and pond going from it into the interior.

Another small pond accesses the free oceans also.

Nice rolling hills and a small mountain range on the northeast give this terrain many possibilities for you.

And that does it for my latest creations for now. Please go back to your regularly scheduled programming-))

This RAW terrain features a Volcano in the approximate center area of the region @ a height of an average of 160m. The center goes down to 101m. There are two flat areas, one @ 40m on the SE side and one @ 21m with a waist high large beach area on the NW side.

For this mod I added another volcano @ 113 m center 136 m approx height. I also added more to the beach area. I added more flat land on the SW @ 23m. I added a land path along the west side as well.

Pretty cool-))

That really is cool! How do you get terrain to a height like 136 meters? I have been thinking that there is a +100 meter limit to terraforming and with a sea level of 20-21 meters that meant the highest mountain could be around 120 meters. There must be a trick I am unaware of........

100 m is the default amount. Just as agent limit defaults to 40 and object bonus defaults to 1

some grids, and i expect sl is one of them since i have never uploaded a RAW file myself in it, hardcode many things, this may be one of them.

I learned I could go beyond this default when I did some terra work in 3rd rock grid, who have many high mountainous regions-))

I can do land up to 500 meters-))) want one???? [tho I can't guarantee it will work for ya]

I am pretty certain you can do this in any opensim grid, and your own soas [which is where i create them..my soas, not yours....lol]

Not completely finished but I felt like bringing it in anyways. Many would consider it done not knowing what more is planned for it-))

Everything in it should be set to copy by anyone.

There are likely some errors. Please see the Attribution Prim in the freebie ruined house. I suggest you come in with draw set to minimum and then increase it once you rezz in well. There are tons of sculpts in this. Most is items from Avia Bonne.

I will upload the finished one in a few weeks but you get this preview...enjoy...peace...out-))

Permissions allowed for content by several content creators. Some items are specifically requested not to be resold.

However, nobody is going to be looking for issues...so we all only ask the people use this in the spirit given, that of it remaining free to keep and free to give out-))

There is some amazing content in this, created with care and freely done. Many odds and ends of scripts as well. Keep in mind it is those people who did the main work here, and give it all free. I only put it together in a nice OAR. Any credit should rightfully go to them and many items have in their contents or descriptions who those ppl are.

The attribution notecard prim is in the freebie Ruined House, please review that. If any person should complain about content it is best to be nice and simply contact the content creators themselves. This avoids issues getting out of control-))

It is also best to keep in mind content complaints are only valid if from the verifiable original content creator who can also verifiability show the content was originally created by them.

I am primarily the organizer and in charge of overall placement and design. Specific content issues should be directed to the builders themselves. As well, you may likely make a new friend-))

This OAR is not to be imported into any closed commercial grid other than Kitely. As Kitely allows individuals to import OARs themselves, and as it will open to the hypergates sometime this year.
