OPQ Wood Textures (including planks, panels etc, etc)
Plain wood, old and worn wood, painted wood, logs/roundwood, plain planks and panelling, old and worn planks, painted (and stained) planks, decorative wood panels... I've got more than a thousand different wood textures and most of them are finally for sale on Kitely Market.
This list does not include the bark and endwood textures. They generally have a different use than other wood textures so I've listed them in a separate thread here: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=7121
I'll start with the regular wood textures. https://www.kitely.com/market/product/73818717

Re: OPQ Wood Textures (including planks, panels etc, etc)
I'm afraid it gets a bit crazy at this point. You see, one size doesn't really work for all when it comes to wood textures; you really need different ones for small details than for large surfaces.
So that's what I decided to do for my Wood 02 series and since it comes in no less than 112 different colors I ended up with an awful lot of textures. "Only" 313 though since it turned out some of the color variants didn't work out for small wood parts - they were simply too detailed.
These sets are avilable both complete and split into seven smaller variants for those who think a hundredish color variants are a bit too much.
Rey's Wood 02A is the one for small details: https://www.kitely.com/market/product/73818747

Rey's Wood 02B is the medium sized one: https://www.kitely.com/market/product/73818885

Rey's Wood 02C is for the occasions when you want a really big unbroken wood surface: https://www.kitely.com/market/product/73819054

Sometimes all you need is a little bit of structure for a surface and you don't need hundreds of thousands of pixel for that. These textures are only 128x128 pixels and that saves quite a bit of lag.

And if that isn't old and grungy enough for you, add a healthy dose of moss:

Some nice planks. These two sets correspond to Rey's Wood 01 and Rey's Wood 02 respectively and just like Wood 02, Wood Plank 02 are available both as a complete set and as seven smaller ones.

Re: OPQ Wood Textures (including planks, panels etc, etc)
On to painted planks, nice and fresh ones and old weathered ones. These are of course mainly, but not only, intended as sideboards for houses.
The first set is one of my personal favorites (but don't tell my other textures, they only get jealous). It's based on a photo I took of an old battered shed at the Lillehammer train station and it hardly took any editing at all to make it into a lovely set of horizontally tileable weathered sideboard textures.

No. 2 is a much cleaner and more modern texture, tileable both horizontally and vertically

You think the Painted Plank 02 textures are too nice? Let's rough them up a bit

Re: OPQ Wood Textures (including planks, panels etc, etc)
Another set of freshly painted horizontal sideboards. Rey's Painted Planks 03 looks almost identical to Rey's Painted Planks 02 but comes with a different selection of colors; apart from the mandatory white variants there shouldn't be any duplicates in the palette of the two.
The seed photos for the two sets are of walls of two houses that were identical apart from the color and some of the colors I wanted worked best with one of the photos, some with the other.
That brings up one thing that most people probably don't realise. Making a set of color variants for a texture is not simply a matter of adding some tint to it. If it was that easy, we could just do them all in white and add the tint in-world.
Rey's Painted Planks are listed both as a complete set and split into three smaller ones. https://www.kitely.com/market/product/73818456

For all the pedants out there: yes, these textures do not show painted sideboards but stained ones. For everybody else: who cares? They look great!
