It’s with a heavy heart that I share the news that Luna Lunaria has passed away.

She contributed a great deal to OpenSim and was a well-known creator whose work many of us admired. Her presence in the community will be missed.

We’ll always remember her for becoming a verb in our world, "we Luna ’ed our build" whenever we wanted to make something shine just a little more.

I hope she’s landed somewhere filled with all the PBR vibrance and beauty she loved bringing into our world.

Please keep her family and friends in your thoughts.

Luna was one of the Artists of Synthetic Dreams - Wrong Biennale Pavilion. I am sharing her video exhibit. She was an incredible Artist. We will miss her.

I saw this on Facebook several days ago. It's always so sad to see our wonderful creators move on. She and her imagination will be greatly missed... but not forgotten. I'll be adding a candle for her in my cave of memories on Cowboy Country.

I hope there will be a memorial for Luna on the Kitely memorial sim. I didn't know her, but had certainly heard of her. Sorry to hear of her passing.

We are planning on one. Most likely next week. Luna was a member of Kitely for many years. She was also a member of Wolf Territories and they are having one on Sunday, all day.

Memorial Concert for Luna Lunaria

Sunday, November 30th, 2025

We invite you to join us in honoring the life and legacy of Luna Lunaria. Together, we will remember Luna’s creative spirit and celebrate a legend whose artistry and kindness touched so many.

The Memorial Concert will be held on Luna Lunaria’s Luxor Region, at The Lotus Club, where friends and community will gather to share music, memories, and tribute.

The day will feature a beautiful mix of DJs and Singers, beginning at 10 AM and continuing until 9 PM, with the final set starting at 7 PM.

12 PM – 1 PM: Singer Evan Williams

1 PM – 2 PM: DJ Rael Gabriel

5 PM – 6 PM: DJ Ladyjo Martin

6 PM – 7 PM: Singer Acidic Loop
