Thanks for offering, Minethere! :)

When the summary is ready, send it to Ilan first, by email or via PM. He looks over it, and if necessary edits it (usually very minor tweaks), and then gives the go-ahead for it to be posted on the forum.

I usually prepare the summary in a separate text editor. The fancy formatting can be added using the forum tools when the summary is eventually pasted into a forum post window. Alternatively, it's possible to type formatting tags for

Code: Select all

bold text or italic
directly in the text editor.

Hey Minethere,

I usually use Google Docs to write it up and then just share it with Ilan. He lets me know when it's ready to post and then I copy paste it into a forum post and add formatting/hyperlinks. :)

I'm hoping I can do one or maybe even two meetings at the end of August, but I barely have time to sign on right now. Really missing Kitely. It's nice to read the posts in the forums though.

Who would like to do the summary for the next meeting, due on Wednesday 14 August?

Even with a conservative estimate, I thought I'd be further ahead by now, but I'm not. Doubt I'll be able to do meeting summaries anytime soon. It looks like most of the recent discussion involves the new welcome area anyway. Dot's posts and the resulting discussions seem to cover that pretty well. So maybe meeting notes would be kind of redundant at this point anyway?
