If we say the 22nd then everyone will get the correct date. If we say the 21st some people not in PST may get confused and think it's going to happen a day sooner.

Just wondering if everything is up and running again. I am having problems logging in, both automatically and manually.

Hi Johnny,
We're still in the process of rolling out a big site update (which is taking longer than expected). We'll remove the notice that is currently displayed at the top of our website once we've finished the update.
Please refrain from going inworld until we take down the notice.

Any late word on the update rollout?? The different time zones are confusing (I'm Central USA) and I've been waiting all day, and just now tried to go in-world for the first time without any luck.

Hi Barnard,
We made a very big update to our system earlier today that includes both an upgrade to OpenSim 0.7.6, dozens of fixes we developed for bugs that still exit in the latest OpenSim release, and various feature requests people have asked for. The problem is that for some reason some worlds are having problems with this new OpenSim version despite all the time we spent testing various worlds before we rolled out the update (there are over 5000 user regions in Kitely so we couldn't check every one of them before rolling out the update).
We're trying to track down the problem that is preventing some worlds from starting. For the time being most worlds work but some still don't and we're working at maximum speed to find and fix whatever is causing the problem.

Okay Ilan, I'm sure you and Oren are doing the best you can, and I guess you can put my world on the list of problem worlds. If it helps any my world had real problems with scripts before the rollout..seems like I was the only one that could run them. The partner merchants I brought from SL or any one in my group could not run them, I was the only one that could. No matter what I tried no one besides me could run or work with scripts in my world. Another item I noticed since the rollout is that the option for the Kitely Plug-in is gone from my settings on the web-page. I now have no control over the use of viewers or inventory import tools. This is all probably nothing but I just thought Id tell you. Thanks

Unfortunately Firefox and Chrome have broken the Kitely plugin (and lots of others too). From now on we all have to log on manually, as described in this article:
How to Enter Kitely Virtual Worlds
It's a real nuisance, but not one that Kitely can do much about.
I've been able to log in by going to the simplest world I have, and then teleporting to the world I wanted to go to via the map. If you want to try that, here's the world page (I've set the world temporarily to public access in case it helps):

My apologies for landing you in the sea if you do go there!

Re: Kitely will be down for a 2 hour upgrade cycle on Nov 22
As Dot correctly stated, Chrome and Firefox are in the process of removing support for all executable browser plugins which will, unfortunately, make it impossible for Kitely Plugin to run once they roll out their next software upgrade (plugins are already blocked in their development branches).
As we don't know the exact date of their next update, we were forced to remove Kitely Plugin functionality today.
Please note that the Enter World button still works as it previously did it just can't automatically launch the viewer and log you into the Kitely grid. What you can do is create a shortcut on your desktop or taskbar to launch the viewer with command line parameters that include Kitely's LoginURI and your username and password. This way you'll be able to press an Enter World button then press that shortcut to get the viewer launched. Once it connects to the Kitely grid it will automatically log you into the world for which you just pressed the Enter World button. In other words, it will add an additional mouse click that wasn't required when our plugin automated the process but it won't change the rest of the login flow (and it won't change how teleporting using the Enter World button works when you're already inworld when you press the button).
