Notes from 8 December 2013 Devokan Storytellers Gathering

Place: Dragons Teeth, Kitely grid.

In attendance: Dot Matrix, Selby Evans, Danko Whitfield, Paislee Myrtle, Ghaelen DLareh, Ruby ODegee

Dot updated the group on progress for a “Devokan Village” in Kitely – an idea that had been well received at the previous monthly gathering. She noted a decision had been made to use a 2x2 region configuration with four Ages of long-time Devokan heritage including Touchstone - “the underlying original terrain for Touchstone was the raw file of the original Devokan in Second L.ife.”

There was discussion about establishing a hub or hubs among the various Devokan regions across Kitely as well as discussion of whether a HUD would be helpful.

There was a lengthy discussion of the impending Kitely pricing changes and its impact on members’ overall plans for the new year.

Selby told the group that his region, Cookie II, has space for writers to work in and he is considering an additional world for writers in Kitely if demand warrants.

The gathering concluded with a free-wheeling discussion about preparing for new visitors from other virtual worlds when Kitely opens to the Hypergrid in the new year.
