There is a difference between stating the private beta exists and starting to write reviews about it and how well it functions. You can mention it exists (that cat is out of the bag) but please DO NOT start writing reviews and in no way start posting pictures of the process. This is a private beta for a reason. If the system was at the state it could be shared with everyone then we wouldn't need the beta and would just release this feature now.

Maria did not need anyone to tell her. She would have seen the blog announcement in her feed reader, as I did. A little preliminary publicity like that does not hurt. Gets a little more visibility for the upcoming public release. Maybe gets more content creators thinking about using the Kitely market.

I honestly had no idea this was supposed to be secret! I have Google Alerts up on anything remotely OpenSim related, and subscribe to the Kitely announcements, and this was HUGE news, and I didn't even consider not doing a story.

And since they'd already run an announcement about it, it would have been weird not to do a story, especially about something of such potential major impact.
