What version of Firestorm and what do you mean by temporary derendering of objects? (what are the exact steps you're using to do that?)
Rightclick object to get pie menu, More>, More>, Derender, Temporary
Congrats on the upgrade.

Hi Tess,
Your world is currently using the same physics engine it had before we upgraded OpenSim. If you want, you can change your world's physics engine to ubODE by going to the My Worlds page on our website, opening your world's Manage World dialog, switching to the Advanced tab in that dialog and selecting the physics engine you wan your world to use.

Thank you Graham,
Please note that various things can cause temporarily derendered objects to reappear: https://wiki.firestormviewer.org/fs_derender

Ah, that is indeed the cause as well as being a useful feature -- no need to leave the region now to restore rendering, simply flip the switch in prefs and do a local tp2cam. Something has changed from the previous version, however, as that wasn't what happened up until yesterday unless my Firestorm install changed its prefs automagically.Ilan Tochner wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2020 8:39 am Thank you Graham,

I tried to tp to another grid only to receive a message that teleport fail. Is this permanent or just part of the upgrade?
