I'm so glad to see your beautiful builds here! Hosoi Ichiba was one of my favorite places in SL while I was still there. It's enough that you've seen fit to bring your objects to the marketplace, but I do hope you find the inspiration and energy to recreate the regions in OpenSim. If you can't lure all of your old residents over, you will definitely have many new ones - many who have never had the pleasure of experiencing the environment you created (or those who simply miss it). Build it and they will come, right?

Be well.

hi Amiryu Hosoi - i wrote about your closing:
http://iliveisl.com/sl-japan-kanto-clos ... at-a-loss/
and would like to offer my two cents. as someone that had 19 sims inSL and then sold them, i am familiar with the heartache. i did not build nearly as much as you had but spent 20+ hours a week inSL and has 101 tenants at my peak
i think Kitely is worth it (if you follow my blog, you will see my honesty and sincerity) BUT i would first make a small test and export the OAR to Sim-on-a-Stick
i have done this with my one sim Hax Nuit and my 16 sim Enclave Harbour and being able to have a 100% working copy on my stick is so much peace of mind
i think it is worth it and your build will be even more beautiful than before (plus you'll have 100,000 prims to use!)
maybe Ilan can send me a spreadsheet of user time spent on my various Kitely worlds - i think that would help you decide if it is worth it =)

Hey Ener,
nice to see you again;-) It is always good to meet old friends. Thank you for your sweet words on your blog. Yes I will test a bit with my own OpenSim server before I start t build. What I would like is a few connecting servers that I can backup seperate. The different regions should however connect seamless. I have the feeling I am here to stay alittle bit longer;-)
Hugs,
Ami
