Welcome to Kitely!

It's easy to find the public worlds in Kitely with the most people currently online. Simply go to the "Public Worlds" page on the Kitely website. The first world on the list (upper left corner) is the world with the most people currently online in it at that moment. If you chose to visit one of the worlds at the top of that list you should find a world with other people in it.

Hi there, I am Chav. I've been opensimming for a while but just signed up for Kitely this morning. I hope to make things and sell them to people for small amounts of spacebux. I haven't actually seen anyone in-world yet, but I hope to explore and find actual humans soon.

My kitely name is oopsee Joseppe. I made a kitely account many months ago and just last month purchased the "gold" plan. Wow, so many islands for $35 a month and no upload fees, such a deal. I am now using Kitely as my go to world. I am building out the islands I acquired, adding products to Kitely marketplace. I also love photography and am taking photo's of Kitely and posting on several open sim groups within flicker. Hi there…I'm also relocating from SL. I've been puttering around in various worlds for a couple of months looking for a new home. I had a romanticized WW1-era village with playable trenches and an airfield, plus a shop that mostly sold uniforms. My estate was never big enough to develop the way I wanted it, sim crossings made flying ridiculous, and I had to spend so much effort keeping it funded that I didn't have the time anyway.

Starting over…without all the "other people's work" I'd used over the years…is a little daunting. I'm so relieved to get out from under that overhead cost (and management's quirky whims) without having to run my own grid that it's already worth it. I have a ton of exploring (and uploading…now where did I put all those ground textures…) to do yet before there's anything to visit, but I haven't been this happy to be building in years.

Welcome Isla-)) ask here, tons of resources, especially since OARs can and are brought in easily....the only commercial grid to do that.

Oh, there WILL be questions.
