Unfortunetly no, Advanced Megaregions supported that feature but VarRegions only allow a single terrain textures setting (4 elevation-based textures) for the entire world.
Thanks for the quick response, Ilan. I'll just have to find a way around this problem.
Since there are only parts of the SW region that I absolutely want to be sand, I might be best off setting the world to grass across the board and then laying down some mesh ground cover that looks like sand in the actual beach/boardwalk areas. I'll have to see if I can find some mesh sand somewhere.

I agree it's a pain, Deuce, but Kitely had no choice but to change to varregions in order to maintain compatibility with vanilla OpenSim.
Ozwell has made his original basic mesh landform set free to help with this issue. You can pick up a set in the freebies section on
https://www.kitely.com/virtual-world/Oz ... d-Showroom, or buy it for 10 KC in Kitely Market:
https://www.kitely.com/market/product/2 ... -14-models
It includes a sand texture, but will work with other seamless textures.

Deuce, if you do that then please make sure to create a simplified collision mesh for that mesh ground replacement.

Ilan, is your comment a reply to Deuce's post or to mine?

Sorry Dot, that comment was meant for Deuce. I edited it now to clarify that.
