Hypergrid access to Kitely probably won't be ready in time for the conference. It will take us a few weeks to implement and we may decide to implement delivery to Hypergrid-connected grids (which can also take a few weeks) before we enable people to Hypergrid teleport in and out of Kitely. In any case, we won't work on any one of these features before we open Kitely Market to buyers.

Hiya Sorry for replying only today. And aye, as Graham mentioned, the idea was to place a HG link on our exhibit so that people could directly teleport to Kitely. Everybody on the conference will come from HG grids; in fact, it's technically mandatory for registration and participation.

It's true that the conference is "almost full", or so I've heard, but those 400 registrations are mostly from "decision makers" — people looking for grids to deploy their content & projects — and, of course, there is also the exhibit itself.

Oh well. Who knows, maybe Kitely might host the conference next year. It would be a nice way to show-off its technical advantages (low lag, the ability to easily support a vast number of avatars, etc.)

We plan on enabling Hypergrid access to/from Kitely before the end of the year. While it may not enable the immediate access that a Hypergrid jump into Kitely would enable, I think giving people the URL of your world's world page (or Kitely's home page) could help educate them about some of Kitely's benefits that are not visible from within our grid itself.
