Omg, I'm so sorry to hear this. It seems that it wasn't so long ago that I was talking to him.
I've been personal friends with him since 2009, we were part of the same Victorian community in SL called Antiquity. He had a huge amount of land then and it was devoted to the Victorian period. He did a lot of building back then and had huge stores filled with fireplaces and textures he'd created. I remember being very impressed by him. I rented a parcel at his Victorian sims. We went to the same parties, we talked about building together, sharing tips and tricks, we talked about our lives. We were friends.
Then he moved over to InWorldz making animals. We lost touch for a few years and then reconnected in Kitely and became friends again, talking whenever he was online. He was very unhappy the last I talked with him because of his health although his living situation had improved a bit. He was having home healthcare and was living independently again, which is what he wanted. His health situation was really getting him down though. He spoke of it often.
He has an exhibit at the OpenSim Worlds Fair, he didn't quite finish it but most of his creations are there for people to see. He was especially partial to his Froggies.

He has a building and a wonderful gazebo he created last year displayed as all. Please come and see his exhibit, he was very happy when he won a parcel and worked hard on setting it up even if it isn't quite finished it's mostly done.

He has a few of his Animesh people that he was learning to make displayed in a little shop in Coopersville, if you are interested in seeing them please IM me for a LM.
Good Bye to Gregg. I feel very sad, but he's out of pain now.

Am very sorry to hear this. We chatted a little but enough to know he was a good person.
All my wishes go to his family and close friends

As I myself have reached a last chapter in my life for medical reasons what I feel most is for those that stay behind.
The best approach for me is that we are all family here, many of us know each other by far or closer but we must always be ready to help if someone needs our help and I think Gregg was one of those people.
That was very kind of you Ilan to mention this even if it hurts many here, that's what I call a family so thank you very much to make it all come true <3
All my love to you all

Gregg has been a good friend to many of us across a number of grids as the years passed and he'll be very much missed. While I'm saddened that he is no longer with us I'm very much aware that he had been increasingly frustrated by the limitations his health issues were placing on his day to day life, so it's actually good that he can now be at peace.

I didn't know Gregg though I am told I may have seen him at the Community meetings.. I read through what has been written here and can see he touched a good many people in here and other places. I can see that he was respected for both his work and the person he was and that says a lot about a him, enough to make me sorry I missed the chance to get to know him. I too feel sorry for those that now miss him. It's touching to see the Community react like it has. I still consider myself new here so have not talked with many people in world or, in here for that matter but am happy I have found a place such as this, maybe not at this moment but...

I know this is how I will remember Gregg.

Two little mice hiding in the reeds. He gave it to me a while ago (wow! it's four years ago already!). It's been one of the favourite items in my inventory ever since. And it's so typical of his style, lovely little details full of life and often featuring some of the best sculpt animals I've seen here or in Second Life.
I hope his works will be preserved one way or another on Kitely. This isn't the only one he never listed for sale.
Rest in peace, Gregg. We won't forget you anytime soon.
