Useful for brief region previews and UI animated demos:
LICEcap: free for Windows and OSX and outputs to animated gif http://www.cockos.com/licecap/
Import animated gif into OpenSim using Windows program and play using associated LSL script: http://metaverse.mitsi.com/Secondlife/p ... d-Life.htm
