Just when I thought I had it all figured out...

And there's even a chart. But can someone please explain my prims to me. On Rhapsody, I seem to have 3 sims with 15000 prims and 1 with 100,000. Is this because the one is part of five for being a premium member and the other three are add-ons to my premium five? If it says that somewhere, I am either missing it or not understanding what I am reading to mean that. Help appreciated.

Hi Freda,

Each Premium World has the same 100,000 prim quota no matter how many regions that world contains. The problem is that some viewers incorrectly show 15,000 prims instead of the information provided by our servers. Even so, the actual enforcement is done by the server and it enforces the 100,000 prims per world limit.

I tried three different viewers. Singularity, firestorm and Cool viewer. They all had it wrong. Not telling you to scold you, just for your own data.

is a 2X2 one world or four?

On another note I saw a typo in the new services page. Do you want to know? I can even have my proofreader (who is on weekly retainer) proof it if you like. He is good at what he does. I have nothing else for him to look at this week.

Thank you Freda.

A 2x2 is a single world that is 2 by 2 regions in size. Is that world currently set up as an Advanced Megaregion or as separate regions? (you can see and change that setting in the Advanced tab of that world's Manage World dialog).

Please send me a PM with any typos you find and we'll fix them. :-)

I have a 2x2 Advanced Megaregion, and I've found that my viewer (Firestorm) will show the correct prims when I'm in the Southwest sim of the world. But it suffers from the 15k prim bug in the other 3 sims. I have no idea what would cause that.

That is precisely what was happening in Rhapsody. Same deal. SW is right. All others wrong. In three different viewers.

Just my best guess, but maybe because the southwest corner region is the "home" region of megaregions? It's also the region that OARs upload to if it isn't an advanced megaregion OAR and it has to do with the way they are identified...

Which leads to another question. Is there any way to reset the "home region?"

I don't think so Freda. I used a Teleport Hub to change where I land and Raw terrain files to load terrain on the other regions in my world. So there are some workarounds depending on what you want to do.

Right now, the main landing point-- no matter where I set it-- puts people on someone's rental parcel. How does a hub work?
