Hi There,

Am new to the kitely world and was using second life as well, My question is about my inventory, I've bought couple of things in secondlife but I can't locate them when I log on my kitely world. Is there a way of transfering them across or is there a market for kitely that I could buy stuff from?

Regards

Second Life is a closed grid and is also a different system to Open Simulator (Which is what Kitely uses). Second Life doesn't allow users to remove items from their world. Unfortunately this means that anything you have bought in SL must stay in SL.

There are places in Kitely where you can get freebie items and from what I have heard the Kitely marketplace is coming soon. A good place that I know is: http://www.kitely.com/virtual-world/Kat ... ie-Mall-20 . It have quite a variety from skins, clothing, outfits, furniture, and much more.

There is also http://www.kitely.com/virtual-world/Ene ... m-freebies . Which have some high quality freebie objects, although not as much variety as the Freebie Mall (But woth a look for those interesting items).

Hi faizal,

I just want to mention that items that were created entirely by you in Second Life can be copied over to Kitely using Imprudence or Second Inventory.

For details on how to use Imprudence to copy the content you created inside Second Life to Kitely, see: http://wiki.kokuaviewer.org/wiki/Imprud ... ent_Backup

As Paul mentioned, we're currently working on developing an advanced marketplace that will also offer content from well known OpenSim and Second Life merchants. You can also find inworld shops by visiting worlds that are listed in the Public Worlds page (press the shopping link to get started): http://www.kitely.com/search

If you are in need of content to get yourself stasrted, here are a few Kitely Regions that host 100% free content created by Linda Kellie:
http://www.kitely.com/virtual-world/Kat ... ie-Mall-20
http://www.kitely.com/virtual-world/Dot-Macchi/Retreat
http://www.kitely.com/virtual-world/Ada ... ie-Designs
http://www.kitely.com/virtual-world/Gra ... ls-2/Stuff

And when the Kitely online marketplace debuts sometime in April, you may just see your favorite Second Life merchant's store in Kitely soon after.

Some merchants in SL sell DAE files and full perm textures so that people can export the content they bought. Johnny Midnight is one of them. I bought some great mesh buildings from him right off his website http://opensim-shops.org/jtldesigns/. There is also free licensed content available to upload http://opensim-creations.com/, and you can purchase full ialand RAW files (that you load into your in-world region controls to instantly change the shape of your island) from our very own minethere Always http://store.payloadz.com/results/results.aspx?m=239383.

The resources are pretty limitless. If anyone needs anything particular please contact me here or in-world and I will be happy to search it out for you.
