Today's Kitely Community Meeting will be held at 1:00pm PST in Kitely Welcome Center.

Ilan is unable to be with us today, but he's asked if I might stand in his stead. The following is his suggested agenda.

The meeting will start with a brief update on what Ilan and Oren have been doing behind the scenes.

Then we'll move on to discuss how we might best organise, support and even expand community events, such as the music events organised by Roxy and the Seanchai Library's ongoing activities.

Today's meeting will be short. We aim to finish the meeting by 2:00pm PST (60 minutes).

Please note that, as discussed in this forums thread, Kitely Community Meetings will no longer take place on Wednesdays and will be held on Sundays instead.

I would love to see more attendance in both those Venues. Seanchai is often me and maybe one or three others aside from Cale and Shandon, which I find mildly annoying since they do them so well. At least in the morning times I can attend.

The same with Roxy, I would love to see more attend those.

Both are doing a good job of bringing in new ppl to Kitely as well, which is good for Kitely, and the rest of the hypergated Meta [my own focus].

I can't do anymore than I already do to help them in my small and increasingly smaller things I do. [RL being an issue].

But I am just adding my two cents that whatever you all come up with to help in these matters would be nice.

I do see some really good promoting and reaching out in the few places I roam now, so possibly the time is still not right? or, right enough?

I do note there are in fact an increasing amount of activities available so perhaps some way could be found to work on that? Maybe less events here?

It was a lively meeting with lots of good ideas, suggestions and information.

Min made a chatlog of the meeting, which I sent to Ilan. His response:

I just finished reading the chatlog. Thank you for sending it to me. I think the group raised some good ideas about increasing the visibility of what can be found in Kitely.

I'll post summaries of some of the ideas on this forum over the next day or so.
