Post by Ilan Tochner »

Today's Kitely Community Meeting will be held at 1:00pm PDT in Kitely Welcome Center.

(See timezone information here: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-z ... ific-time/)

We'll begin with a short update about what we're currently working on and then discuss the limited-time offer that will end at the end of this month. For details, see: http://www.kitely.com/virtual-world-new ... ime-offer/

Today's meeting will be short. We will finish the meeting by 2:00pm PDT at the latest.

I have to say that as a Premium account holder I'd prefer the option to be able to set the idle timeout at 30 or 60 min. While I appreciate that 60 min might be good for some events, it's easy for folk in other contexts to get distracted, forget they're logged-in and rack up a large number of minutes. I wouldn't say it happens often but I know I've done it. I appreciate that this is an incentive to move to the new accounts but I don't think the change has been adequately trailed. It would be interesting to know what percentage of sessions end in a timeout.

Hi Graham, very few sessions end in an idle visitor timeout and of those that do most are either in people's own worlds or in one of the official Kitely worlds (i.e. in the Kitely Welcome Center or in the Kitely Merchants Sandbox).
