llGetWallclock returns GMT instead of Pacific Time (SLT)

Hi, not sure if this an opensim bug or the time set different on Kitely's servers; llGetWallclock doesn't return Pacific Time (PST/DST) (also known as SL Time or SLT) but GMT instead. This is contrary to what's explained in the LSL wikis:

http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlGetWallclock
http://lslwiki.net/lslwiki/wakka.php?wa ... tWallclock

For getting GMT time, llGetGMTclock() is normally used.

I know there could be worked around this by converting the timezone but it would be nice if llGetWallclock would have the behaviour as expected.

Hi Lotek,

Kitely hosts its servers in Amazon's California West datacenter and Amazon sets the clock on all its EC2 instances to GMT.

We'll look into llGetWallclock in our next site update to make sure that it returns the time in the expected timezone.

i've noticed this for a long time, but i often think in terms of gmt anyway, so no biggie. i'll still not be on time either way!

but it would be cool to have it updated.

thank you for bringing it up Lotek,
thank you Ilan
THANK YOU OREN!
